JCB to open new academy school
JCB have announced plans to fund a new academy school in East Staffordshire to help young people pursue a career in engineering and manufacturing. The company will invest around £1.8 million in the academy, which will be built alongside JCB’s world headquarters at Rocester. The academy will have up to 540 pupils and is planned to open in September 2009.
