JCB make key global appointments

JCB have strengthened their global management team with the announcement of three key appointments in North America and the UK.

Gordon Henderson has switched from his role as UK and Ireland sales director to take up the new position of vice-president – south-eastern USA. Based at JCB’s North American headquarters in Savannah, he is responsible for supporting the company’s dealer network in Georgia, North and South Carolina, Florida and Alabama.

Meanwhile, Bob Wright has joined JCB Inc. as vice-president of sales. He has over 20 years’ experience in field sales and management positions with equipment dealers and most recently was senior vice-president of sales for Volvo Trucks North America.

 

"The role of UK and Ireland sales director has been taken over by Chris Spring, who has held a number of key positions within JCB during the last 19 years, most recently as director of Heavyline sales and marketing.

Commenting on the appointments, JCB Sales’ managing director, Françoise Rausch, said that JCB have very ambitious growth plans and these new appointments would be pivotal to realizing the company’s aspirations.
