IR expand range of reduced-vibration tools
"Ingersoll-Rand (IR) Portable Power have expanded their range of reduced-vibration tools with the launch of two new jackhammers — the IR17JV and IR23JV. The new models are suitable for secondary splitting and small blasthole applications in quarries, as well as demanding applications in construction, demolition and utilities work."
"Weighing 17kg and 23kg, respectively, the IR17JV and IR23JV share the same shank size of 22mm x 108mm. Designed for work at a maximum working pressure of 7bar, the tools have frequencies of 2,040bpm and 2,100bpm and air consumptions of 2.8m3/min and 4.8m3/min. The vibration levels are 6.1m/s2 and 6.7m/s2 respectively. Both are equipped with air flushing, muffler and adjustable throttle as standard. Few moving parts and many common items across the jackhammer range simplifies the maintenance requirements."
