InterBolt set for further growth
Intelligent bolting system manufacturer moves to larger premises as sales grow year on year
INTERBOLT, the UK-based manufacturers of intelligent bolting systems, say growth has taken off since the business was first launched in 2021 and rising year-on-year sales have now prompted additional investment in the company’s production capacity and workforce.
InterBolt recently moved to larger premises in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk. Combining office and production space, the facility provides extra capacity to meet growing demand. InterBolt have also hired number of new starters, most recently manufacturing technician Chris Bell.
Used in a wide range of critical bolted joint applications, InterBolt technology provides real-time bolt load measurements to engineers during installation and long-term monitoring. Proof of bolt loads is guaranteed via a highly accurate miniature bolt load sensor embedded directly into the bolt or threaded stud itself, which can be monitored remotely. Once tightened accurately on site, it eliminates the need for manual periodic inspection and allows asset failures to be predicted and prevented.
InterBolt managing director Jack Hughleigh said: ‘Increased awareness and customer satisfaction with our innovative integrated bolt load-monitoring solution is feeding through into rising sales volumes. Moving to new premises and taking on more staff will ensure we can continue to meet growing customer demand. The facility also provides a focal point for our engineering team to meet up with customers, and work together, to develop new opportunities for InterBolt intelligent bolting.’
