‘Intelligent’ PC210LCi-10 for Dynamic Ground Solutions

Nottingham firm first in UK to purchase Komatsu excavator with integrated machine control technology

NOTTINGHAM-based Dynamic Ground Solutions Ltd have become the first company in the UK to purchase the new 23-tonne Komatsu PC210LCi-10 excavator – the first excavator in the world to have integrated machine control technology.

Working to a pre-set design of the site, the control function allows the operator to focus on moving material efficiently without worrying about digging too deep or damaging the target surface, as the system is designed to prevent any ‘over-digging’ by the operator.

From rough digging to finish grading, the ‘intelligent’ PC210LCi-10 is said to provide a significant improvement in efficiency on site and is safer too, as less manual checking of digging progress and staking are required.   The new PC210LCi-10 excavator has been put to work by Dynamic Ground Solutions Ltd on a new retail development adjoining the existing Cannock Gateway Retail Park in Staffordshire. It is due to open in June 2015.
