Infrared thermometer

Sensing and instrumentation specialists Vydas International have introduced a new lightweight infrared thermometer for non-contact temperature measurements. The Infros 201 – manufactured by Ditel – monitors the target object surface temperature without any physical contact, and is therefore useful for checking the temperatures of pipes, pumps, engines, machines and conveyors.

The infrared thermometer measures temperatures in degrees Celsius or Fahrenheit and is simple to use; just aim at the object and pull the trigger. At distances up to 140mm, Infros 201 offers 0.3s scanning and precise measurement of target objects as small as 13mm. The tool has a high-optical resolution of 20:1 and measures temperatures from –32° to 420°C.
