Hyva technology on show at Tip-Ex 2016
Tipping gear specialist to exhibit widest and strongest product line-up ever at this year’s show
HYVA will be demonstrating how the company’s latest technologies are bringing significant benefits to operators in the tipping and waste industries, at Tip-Ex 2016, which takes place in Harrogate from 2–4 June.
The key exhibit on Hyva’s main stand in Hall A will be a new 8x4 Scania in the livery of Aggregate Industries and fitted with Hyva’s ultra-light FCA129 tipping cylinder.
Specifically designed for 32-tonne sand and aggregates work, the 430kg FCA129 is said to be the lightest 8x4 tipping gear in the UK. A key feature of this cylinder is its innovative plastic oil tank, which saves around 20kg over a steel equivalent.
Also making a significant debut at the show will be Hyva’s new HA33 crane. Essentially a new product sector for the company, Hyva cranes will initially be focused on the building supply industry. The high-specification HA33 model being exhibited will feature full remote control making operation both speedy and safe.
Other products, including wet kits and a wide range of tipping cylinders for both rigids and trailers, will is also be shown on Hyva’s main stand in Hall A.
Meanwhile, in Hall M, Hyva will be showing a third high-technology product, the latest TRR ‘Handy’ remote-control operating system for skiploaders.
Little bigger than a TV remote control, this lightweight, ultra-compact, hand-held device allows complete control of all the functions of a Hyva skiploader. For Tip-Ex, the TRR ‘Handy’ will be shown in conjunction with Hyva 2012XL skiploader bodywork mounted on a Dennis Eagle chassis with a low-entry cab.
Also being shown by Hyva in Hall M will be an FCA137 tipping cylinder on a new 8x4 tipper for Mick George Ltd of St. Ives, Cambridgeshire. Combining high-strength and low-weight with a separate ram and tank design, the FCA137 is Hyva’s core product for UK 32-tonne tipper operations.
Outside the main exhibition halls will be another Hyva product – one of the latest Titan hookloaders. Fitted to a MAN chassis, Titan’s advanced design includes a fully bolted construction making installation and maintenance significantly easier.
