Hawk order Moxy

Shropshire-based Hawk Plant have taken delivery of the first Moxy MT40B series-II articulated dumptrucks to be supplied in the UK by Marubeni-Komatsu.

As well as 10 MT40Bs, the order — worth £3.5 million — also included eight MT31 and two MT26 models. Commenting on the order, Mike Hawkins, chairman of the Hawk Group, said: ‘We operate one of the largest fleets of articulated dumptrucks in the country and have been using Moxy dumptrucks since 1979. I have experienced many changes in the Moxy product over the years but feel very confident about the performance and operator acceptability of the latest range of dumptrucks.’
