Hard hats for compressors

Atlas Copco have introduced a tough polyethylene canopy for their Series 7 portable air compressors.

Dubbed the ‘HardHat’, the new housing is produced in roto-moulded LMDP (linear medium-density polyethylene). The canopy structure is fully UV-stabilized, contains long-term antioxidants to prolong material integrity and demonstrates proven resistance to extreme temperatures. The HardHat canopy is currently available on the XAHS37, XAS47 and XAS57 compressors and will be introduced to other models in the Series 7 range throughout 2005.
