Gearbox range extended
Renold Gears have extended their SMXtra range of shaft-mounted helical gearboxes for heavy-duty applications to include sizes 11 and 12.
The Atex-approved range is now available in 12 sizes up to 235kW capacity with a choice of either single- or double-reduction units, ratios up to 25:1 and output speeds ranging from 10 rev/min to 400 rev/min.
Depending on individual requirements, the SMXtra range can be fitted with advanced seals to optimize protection from dust and moisture. Renold Gears have produced a new catalogue for all the gearboxes in the SMXtra range with details of the power ratings of each unit.
