FM Conway secure coveted carbon certification
Leading infrastructure services company now certified to British Standards Institute PAS 2080:2023
Leading infrastructure services company FM Conway are now British Standards Institute (BSI) certified to PAS 2080:2023, the global standard for the management and reduction of whole-life carbon in infrastructure and the built environment.
PAS 2080 provides the framework for managing whole-life carbon across infrastructure projects through promotion of early collaboration with the whole value chain and embedding low-carbon decision making into every phase of works.
The stringent audit process highlighted FM Conway’s self-delivery model as a key contributor to intelligently designing out carbon, as well as their bespoke whole-life carbon assessment and reporting tool which contains more than 15,000 materials and fuels – enabling carbon impact assessments to be provided for all works they deliver.
The certification illustrates the business’ dedication to continual improvement and fostering a culture that promotes and incentivises carbon reduction both across the business and in collaboration with the supply chain.
By achieving PAS 2080 certification as a ‘constructor’, FM Conway solidify their position as an industry leader in sustainability and their commitment to supporting clients in achieving their decarbonization goals.
