Flexco launch online safety training

Flexible Steel Lacing Co. (Flexco) have launched a comprehensive interactive training programme – called the Flexco Safe Online Training Centre – designed to serve as a helpful resource to supplement individual company training and safety guidelines.

Available by visiting, users can access presentations, videos, quizzes and installation instructions to improve workplace safety and raise awareness.  The information can potentially save businesses costs and time stemming from work-related accidents and injuries.

The Flexco Safe Online Training Centre features 19 training modules covering four key areas: belt preparation; belt cleaning; belt maintenance; and fastener installation. To accommodate group training, each module features an Account Group Management system for training managers to track the topics, timing and test results of individual employees.

The online training centre also includes installation instructions for Flexco products, as Mike Stein, the company’s vice-president of marketing commented: ‘The online training demonstrates how tools and fasteners that comprise Flexco products can help conveyor belt users work more safely and efficiently. It is about providing individuals and companies with detailed information on a broad range of topics to establish and enhance safety procedures.’
