Flexco introduce new secondary belt cleaner
Latest Y-Type cleaner provides improved belt cleaning efficiency and easier maintenance
FLEXCO have unveiled their new Y-Type secondary cleaner which has been designed to deliver improved belt cleaning efficiency and easy maintenance. The easy-to-install cleaner comes with urethane blades that provide an effective solution for belt cleaning challenges.
The 3in urethane blade segments on the cleaner conform to worn or damaged belts, while the spring tensioner ensures that there is consistent blade-to-belt interaction and constant pressure on the belt.
Available in sizes to fit belt widths from 18in to 48in, the Y-Type secondary cleaner is available with a standard abrasion-resistant purple blade or a white chemical-resistant blade.
‘The simple design of the cleaner helps make changing the blade fast and easy,’ said Ryan Grevenstuk, senior product manager at Flexco. ‘Blades can be removed and replaced either individually or all at once.’
The secondary belt cleaner can be used in conjunction with the company’s EZP1 Rockline precleaner or MSP standard mine-duty precleaner.
