Flexco go mobile
FLEXCO have announced that they will continue their Mobile Showroom Programme in 2011, which comprises four trailers touring North America promoting the company’s wide range of belt conveyor products.
Each mobile showroom will have various Flexco products on display, such as mechanical fasteners for belt splicing, cleaners for reduced carryback and the removal of debris, and belt trainers and lifters.
The mobile showrooms will be transported and operated by a number of local Flexco territory sales managers, who will offer hands-on demonstrations and question and answer sessions to potential customers.
‘This is a great opportunity in which we can bring products directly to the people who will be using it every day,’ said Rich Gilman, global service programme manager for Flexco. ‘Each mobile showroom offers a hand-on experience that customers cannot get from a brochure.’
Due to the popularity of the programme, Flexco have plans to add more mobile units to their existing fleet in 2011.
‘We enjoy getting feedback from customers on what would make their Flexco experience better,’ said Mr Gilman. ‘The trailers are a one-on-one way to give them the opportunity to share their thoughts and ideas directly with their local territory sales managers.’
