First Volvo L110E delivered in UK

Following the recent launch of Volvo’s mid-range E-Series wheel loaders, Longwater Gravel Co. Ltd have taken delivery of the first L110E to be sold in the UK. The machine is now working at the company’s Coxford Quarry, near Fakenham, Norfolk, where it is in charge of stocking-out duties.

Developed specifically for the E-Series, the L110E is a completely new model which is of strategic importance for Volvo in the quarrying and rehandling industries, filling a gap between the L90E and L120E.

Bill Littleboy, managing director of Longwater Gravel, said: ‘The machine is the ideal size for us, catering for a wide variety of clients from large customers running bulk tippers to builders’ merchants and farmers with small tippers and pick-ups.’
