First software package for multiple belt weighers
Avery Weigh-Tronix have launched the UK’s first software package specifically aimed at users of multiple dynamic belt weighers in the quarrying industry.
The system allows central monitoring and reporting of multiple material movements and flow rates from several locations. The software is easy to configure and can be integrated into a central control system. Flow-rate and total-rate data are displayed in either tonnes per hour or kilogrammes per hour.
Up to 16 belt weighers can be linked up simultaneously with data from up to eight displayed on a PC screen at the same time. Information is provided in real time and reports can be generated for any specific time or date. This information includes flow-rate and total-flow trends and can be viewed in a numerical or graphical format.
Designed to run on Windows XP using an SQL database, communication options include series RS485 or, via an adaptor, RS232, USB or Ethernet. Links can be point-to-point or multi-drop.
