Asphalt Burner Services Ltd (ABS), nationwide providers of asphalt servicing and spare part products, have announced their first sale of the new customized Vulcan burner range to CEMEX UK.
The Vulcan burner range is a revolution in fuel efficiency measurement resulting in lowered emissions and increased burner effectiveness. Its innovative features raise the standards for asphalt production.
ABS have spent many years developing this new range and researching the optimum performance features including excess air control, combustion chamber optimization and air pressure compensation, which is unique to the Vulcan range. They say that the difference is instantly recognizable in comparison to some of the current burners being used in sites across the UK.
The Vulcan burner range incorporates maintenance features that have a major impact on the overall efficiency including: standard dual-side facility, right- or left-hand control mounting, independent twin-bearing supported impellor, access door for impellor inspection, standard motor sizing and frame sizing for economical replacement, burner inspection viewing window and tube, adjustment facility for combustion box length, externally mounted adjustment handles, flame shaping optimization, sectional combustion head, lance fitted with hydraulic fuel push adaptors used for ease of maintenance, quick release mechanism utilized on the lance, gas igniter positioning slide device accessed externally and an external spark electrode igniter connection.
