Finning secure £15 million order from Flannery Plant Hire

Plant hire firm orders over 200 new Cat machines including first Tier 4-compliant excavators in Europe

FLANNERY Plant Hire have continued to invest in Caterpillar equipment by ordering 204 new machines in a £15 million deal. Supplied by Finning, the units will help meet increased demand for environmentally friendly equipment across the construction industry, as emissions regulations tighten.

The order includes: 15 Cat M313D and 15 Cat M315D wheeled excavators; 50 Cat 308E2 mini-excavators; and four Cat D6T LGP track-type tractors. The deal also includes 60 Cat 312E; 30 Cat 320EL, 30 Cat 305E and five Cat 336EL hydraulic excavators; as well as 10 Cat 311F LLR hydraulic units, which will be the company’s first Tier 4-compliant excavators in Europe.

All of the machines produce low emissions and will help Flannery Plant Hire and their customers reduce their emissions even further.

Adding to their 1,600-strong plant hire fleet, Flannery Plant Hire are now in a prime position to provide Cat equipment for customers working within the London low-emission zone, and this major investment by the company represents a significant vote of confidence in Finning and Cat equipment, and the importance of machinery that meets European emission standards.
