Extendable low-loader from Nooteboom
The latest development from Nooteboom Trailers is an extendable stepframe low-loader with excavator trough. The trough can be supplied for virtually any product in the Nooteboom multi-trailer range, ie for unsteered as well as hydraulically steered stepframe low-loaders with up to six axles.
The excavator trough makes it possible to transport certain types of heavy and tall excavators on a stepframe low-loader. The excavator’s boom is placed in the recess, thereby reducing the height of the load by around 30cm. As a result it is possible to transport certain 45-tonne excavators on a five-axle stepframe low-loader throughout Europe without exceeding the permitted height.
