Exchange service from WYKO
All Fenner Classic shaft-mounted speed reducers (SMSRs) are eligible for a new lease of life thanks to a ‘service-exchange’ programme from WYKO.
Classic gearboxes that are reaching the end of their service life can now be exchanged for a fully refurbished replacement unit of the same model and dimensions, complete with new internal components. New shafts and gears are mounted on the latest technology bearings and protected by new-generation seals.
WYKO will exchange original SMSRs and guarantee the replacement unit for two years when purchased on its own, or three years if purchased with an inverter drive or soft start.
WYKO will also accept other makes of shaft-mounted gearboxes into the programme, replacing the original make with the equivalent torque-rated Fenner Classic SMSR.
To order a service-exchange unit customers should contact WYKO quoting the part number stamped on the existing gearbox or stating the size and ratio required. All replacement units receive new ID plates for clear identification and are supplied ‘as new’.
