Engines for the concrete industry
Briggs & Stratton Commercial Power have launched a powerful new range of V-twin engines, aimed specifically at the concrete production market.
The Vanguard V-twin engines are available in two displacements with six horsepower options ranging from 18.65kW to 26.10kW. The engines’ advanced features include: a perforated steel rotating screen; a larger phase-modulating cooling fan; and a deeper blower housing to improve debris management and allow increased airflow and better engine cooling.
The engines feature a 360 cooling water jacket that efficiently reduces oil and engine temperatures. All engines also feature a large volume muffler, ensuring that the engines comply with all European noise and emissions regulations.
The engines are manufactured through a joint venture with Daihatsu and contain V-twin overhead valve (OHV) technology to deliver superior balance and reduced vibration and component wear, while improving fuel efficiency and enhancing durability and performance.
