EDA welcomes two new member companies
Grupo Mitre and 4D Demolition added to growing European Demolition Association membership network
FRENCH-based demolition contractors 4D Demolition and Argentina-based Grupo Mitre have become the latest members of the European Demolition Association (EDA).
Established in 2012, and historically based in Marseille, 4D are a SME providing a range of services, including asbestos removal, blasting, decommissioning and dismantling.
Operating in the French territory, the company also serves the international markets, with staff carrying more than 20 years of experience and know-how in deconstruction and demolition. 4D are also certified by AFNOR for asbestos removal and by MASE for safety management.
Grupo Mitre of Buenos Aires are a family-run business with several significant milestones under its belt, including becoming the ‘world’s first B Corporation demolition company’. This certification highlights the demolition firm’s positive impact on the environment and community.
With a strong dedication to the circular economy, Grupo Mitre stand out for their efforts to minimize landfill waste by recovering demolition aggregates and reintegrating them as building materials as part of the recycled construction production cycle.
