Electric hammer technology specialists Lekatech join the European Demolition Association

FINNISH equipment manufacturers Lekatech have joined the European Demolition Association (EDA) – the trade body representing national demolition associations, contractors, and suppliers across the continent.

Since its establishment in 2018, Lekatech have revolutionized the world of breakers and hammers with their state-of-the-art advanced electric-powered solutions. Continuing its work in redefining the capabilities and benefits of electric hammering technology for the mining, quarrying, and construction industries, the company unveiled its new LekaToras35 electric hammer at Hillhead 2024.

Lekatech’s patented linear electric motor technology for hammering applications is seen by the wider construction and mineral products sector as ‘game-changing’. Light in weight and easy to use, the hammer is said to deliver high power but with reduced vibrations, emissions and operating costs.

More importantly, Lekatech’s fully electric hammer represents a viable and eco-friendly alternative to traditional hydraulic impact hammers in the market.
