Dromone Auto Coupler continues to grow in popularity in US thanks to high levels of flexibility and safety

DROMONE Engineering, manufacturers of tilt buckets and couplers, have announced that they are to continue to focus efforts around expanding their US presence and product availability through their Auto Coupler device.

The company’s automatic couplers are built to high OEM standards and are compatible with all major attachments and carrier machines from six to 110 tonnes. The Dromone Auto Coupler features a fully automatic safety latch, which means that all attachment changes are completed from within the safety of the cab.

No manual intervention needed by the operator or those outside the cab when securing or releasing an attachment. The safety auto lock is constantly visible from inside the cab, providing greater job site assurance and safety. In addition, a hydraulic check valve is fitted as standard for greater safety redundancy.

According to Dromone, their Auto Coupler has been designed to maximize the capabilities of the host machine and attachment through optimized breakout force, superior digging performance and greater efficiency. It also includes a heavy-duty certified lifting eye for additional functionality and uses a ranger-style coupler design for increased attachment size flexibility and higher asset utilization. Buckets can be utilized with the coupler in normal or back-facing position.
