Doosan win biggest truck order in Poland

Polish civil engineering contractor takes delivery of six Doosan MT31 articulated dumptrucks

DOOSAN Infracore Construction Equipment have won their largest order for articulated dumptrucks (ADTs) in Poland. The order for six MT31 ADTs forms part of a new fleet of Doosan machines delivered to Hydrobudowa s.a, a leading Polish contractor specializing in complex civil and hydro engineering, infrastructure and specialist construction projects.

The order also includes two Doosan DX300LC and two Doosan DX340LC crawler excavators. All 10 machines were supplied by Doosan dealers, Grausch i Grausch maszyny Budowlane Sp. z o.o.

Five of the new ADTs are currently working on the construction of the Bojanowo–Rawicz section of the new high-speed S5 Expressway, while the sixth machine is working on the construction of a new sports arena in Toruń.

Weighing 22.7 tonnes, the Doosan MT31 ADT is powered by a Scania DC9 engine that provides a gross output of 255kW (347hp) at 2,200 rev/min, carries a maximum payload of 28 tonnes, and features central lubrication, a rear-view camera and permanent six-wheel drive to ensure maximum stability and equal weight distribution.

Working with the ADTs on the new S5 Expressway, all the new excavators are powered by Doosan’s DL08 common-rail engine, which delivers 147kW (197hp) on the DX300LC and 184kW (247hp) on the DX340LC. Weighing 28.74 and 33.96 tonnes, respectively, both excavators incorporate Doosan’s EPOS electronic-control system and feature a control panel with colour LCD display and output from a rear-view camera.

Meanwhile, Doosan have launched a new multi-lingual website (www.doosanequipment.eu), which provides a comprehensive source of information about Doosan and Doosan-branded construction equipment for customers in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA).
