Doosan announce changes to Scotland dealers
Scottish dealers for Doosan Infracore Construction Equipment now awarded new Bobcat dealerships
DOOSAN have announced that Lloyd Ltd, Scotia Plant Ltd and Balgownie Ltd, existing dealers for the South Korean firm in Scotland, have all been awarded new Bobcat dealerships. All three dealers are now offering sales and service for the Bobcat range of compact equipment in their respective areas.
Inverurie-based Balgownie Ltd have been appointed as the Bobcat dealer for Aberdeenshire, Morayshire, Angus (from 2012) and for much of the Highlands and parts of Perthshire and Kinross-shire.
The remainder of Perthshire and Kinross-shire is part of the area being handled by Scotia Plant Ltd, based in Coatbridge, representing both Bobcat and Doosan products in the central belt of Scotland. Scotia Plant will work alongside another Bobcat dealer, Kinross-based George Colliar Ltd
Lloyd Ltd have won the Bobcat dealership for the southern part of Scotland, covering East and South Ayrshire, the Border counties, South Lanarkshire and Dumfries and Galloway. The company is also the new Bobcat dealer for Cumbria in England. In both areas, Lloyd Ltd are responsible for all Bobcat products except the telescopic handler range from Bobcat.
Mike Singer, sales director at Balgownie, said: ‘The addition of the Bobcat range is an excellent complement to the Doosan range we represent throughout the North of Scotland. Bobcat has one of the leading ranges of compact equipment with a superior range of compact loaders, mini-excavators and telehandlers.’
