CRH complete Philippines element of Lafarge-Holcim transaction

International building material group concludes final part of Lafarge-Holcim disposals deal

CRH plc, the Dublin-based international building materials group, have completed the Philippines element of the Lafarge-Holcim transaction.

On 2 February 2015, the company announced that it had reached agreement to acquire certain assets from Lafarge SA and Holcim Ltd for a total enterprise value of €6.5 billion.

On 3 August 2015, CRH confirmed that the majority of the transaction was complete, with the exception of the operations in the Philippines.

In a press release issued today, the Group said it was pleased to announce that the Philippines element of the transaction had now also been completed.
