Conexpo-Con/Agg 2020: Superior Industries to present new Patriot cone
Latest P500 model cone crusher to make show debut alongside 11 brand new products
MINNESOTA-based Superior Industries Inc, global manufacturers and suppliers of bulk material processing and handling systems, will be showing no less than 12 new products at Conexpo-Con/Agg.
Among the exhibits will be a new addition to the company’s Patriot cone crusher range – the P500. The machine operates at a maximum power output of 500hp (350kW) with a head diameter of 59in, a maximum feed opening of 13.5in and closed side settings up to 2in.
According to Superior, the P500 crusher boasts a universal crushing chamber design that requires no time-consuming changeouts when transitioning from secondary to tertiary applications.
The machine is also equipped with inverted- or reverse-designed tramp relief cylinders that ensure the hydraulic seals are not exposed to contamination during operation. For reduced maintenance, the tramp relief system has fewer accumulators while an automatic pressure relief valve provides additional protection.
If loss of clamping pressure occurs, counterclockwise countershaft rotation on the P500 unit reduces any damage caused, as it allows the crusher to open rather than turn down.
Superior’s full line of Patriot cone crushers are available in 200, 300, 400, 500 and 600 horsepower models. Each unit comes with lifetime warranty as standard; covering major components including the adjustment ring, bowl, eccentric, head, mainframe and main shaft.
