Comprehensive course calendar from Bruel & Kjaer UK
2013 noise and vibration control training sessions now available for booking
To help industrial engineers meet increasingly strict acoustic requirements, Bruel & Kjaer UK have added a new noise and vibration control training course for 2013.
These acoustic requirements are imposed by more stringent regulations and can only be met by considering noise and vibration control as an integral part of the product creation process, which in turn puts tremendous pressure on the industrial design engineer. The three-day ‘Noise & Vibration Control’ course gives engineers a thorough understanding of the basic concepts that are important for airborne - and structure-borne - noise and vibration in machinery.
Bruel & Kjaer UK’s other training sessions for the new year includes the ‘Theory and Practice of Noise Measurement’ course. This two-day session provides a good, basic understanding of acoustic and measurement principles, covering many applications such as noise abatement, product labeling and building acoustics. Attendees will learn to carry out a host of noise measurements, correct set-up of measuring instruments and assessment of noise reports.
There is also a ‘Vibration Testing for Engineers and Technicians’ course, which provides a practical introduction, explaining how to interpret vibration test specifications and apply them to a vibration test system. It’s designed for engineers new to the field of vibration testing, but also acts as a useful refresher for more experienced users.
