Chieftain for Polish port

Powerscreen’s regional distributors, Powerscreen Polska, have supplied a Chieftain 2100 Rinser to a large aggregate receiving and processing facility at a Polish seaport. The machine is screening and washing granite shipped to the port from a quarry located on the west coast of Scotland.

Material is fed into the Rinser by wheel loader. This is then transferred to the wash box via the main conveyor where it is water-blasted before entering the screenbox. As it passes along the screen mesh, further water blasting from 22 spray bars flushes away any undersize material. This then passes to a Powerscreen Trident dewaterer where sand is recovered, dewatered, conveyed and stockpiled. Washed and screened granite aggregate is then transferred to stockpile by conveyor.
