CDE appoint new Swiss partner
Biedermann Unterhalt & Vertrieb to promote CDE washing equipment throughout Switzerland
BIEDERMANN Unterhalt & Vertrieb (BUV) have joined the CDE Partner Network and will promote the Northern Ireland-based firm’s range of washing equipment throughout Switzerland.
Commenting on the new agreement, BUV’s managing director, Lorenz Biedermann, said: ‘The addition of CDE washing equipment to our portfolio complements our existing equipment and ensures we are able to offer complete processing solutions for our customers.
‘This will allow us to win more business in Switzerland and enhance our position as the market-leading supplier of crushing, screening and washing equipment.’
Mr Biedermann expects the CDE M2500 mobile washing plant to be particularly successful in Switzerland owing to the versatility of the machine. ‘We have seen the M2500 operating with great success in a number of different applications from sand and gravel to crushed rock and construction waste recycling,’ he said.
‘We believe the M2500 is ideally suited to the requirements of the Swiss market due to the fact that it offers operators high-efficiency washing on a compact and portable chassis.’
The addition of BUV to the CDE Partner Network marks the latest development as the company expands its coverage throughout Europe. The network now includes countries in the east and west of Europe as well as the Baltic states and Russia.
Beyond Europe, the company has also established partnership agreements in Africa, the Middle East, Australasia and Latin America.
‘We have spent a lot of time in recent years identifying companies that meet our ideal partner profile,’ explained Peter Craven, head of marketing and sales support with CDE.
‘This has involved taking a close look at how the distribution model is currently structured and challenging whether this offers all involved a satisfactory solution – manufacturers, partners and end-users.’
He added: ‘We are in the process of developing a new model that we believe is a first for the global construction equipment industry, and this will be launched at the end of the year.’
