Breedon acquire Thomas Bow Ltd
Enhanced surfacing platform with the acquisition of East Midlands asphalt and civil engineering business
BREEDON Group have acquired Thomas Bow Ltd (TBL), an East Midlands asphalt, surfacing, and civil engineering business that delivered annual revenue of £29 million in the year to March 2022, from Nottingham City Council.
TBL, who are seen as a natural fit with Breedon’s local business model and entrepreneurial culture, have been working successfully in partnership with Breedon for the past four years through their joint venture Breedon Bow Highways Ltd.
A spokesperson for Breedon said: ‘We are pleased to have this opportunity to continue to grow our presence in the East Midlands and secure a route to market for Breedon’s upstream surfacing materials. In addition, we are delighted that Alistair Bow (pictured) will be continuing as managing director of TBL, along with his senior team.’
