Brampton Skip Hire rebrand as North West Recycling
Name change for company reflects growth in waste-management sector
CUMBRIA-based Brampton Skip Hire have announced a name change to ‘North West Recycling’ to reflect their position as a leading recycling firm and innovative environmental waste-management operator in the region.
Founded in 1995, Brampton Skip Hire were established as a waste bin and container placement/pick-up service, but in recent years have expanded into other key segments of the recycling market, including operating a fully integrated waste-processing facility and investing in a new renewable fuel plant currently under construction.
Rick Allan, founder and owner of newly named North West Recycling, commented: ‘The decision to rebrand and our site redevelopment forms the next chapter in what we are doing to improve innovation in waste management, reduce Cumbria’s landfill burden and protect the local environment.
‘When the business moved into waste management in 1995, it was done with the clear vision of dealing with the non-recyclable element of waste in Cumbria.’
The former Brampton Skip Hire brand will be slowly phased out as the waste-management firm introduces its new North West Recycling name throughout 2021. The company’s ambitious expansion plans, including the new solid recovered fuel (SRF) production facility, is expected to add a further 60 new jobs for the local community.
