Blackwell land new haul of Bell ADTs
Essex-based civil engineering and earthmoving firm acquires 14 Bell B30D articulated dumptrucks
CIVIL engineering and earthmoving specialists CA Blackwell have made a significant addition to their fleet of articulated dumptrucks with 14 new B30D machines from Bell Equipment.
The new 30-tonne trucks are part of Blackwell’s ongoing fleet replacement and renewal programme, and further establish Bell’s position as sole supplier of ADTs to the Essex-based company.
This latest haul of 14 trucks is in addition to four Bell B40D ADTs bought by Blackwell on the first day of the Hillhead exhibition in June 2010.
Neville Paynter, managing director of Bell Equipment UK, said: ‘Blackwell were one of our first major customers when we first arrived in the UK more than a decade ago, so it’s great to see our relationship continue to grow in this way.’
Rob King, resource manager for Blackwell, added: ‘Bell remains our fleet of choice. We look at what else is there in the market, based on price, service and availability, but Bell have once again come out on top. The service we get from Bell and the residual values of the trucks are particularly good.’
