Biodiversity and minerals planning – what does it mean?

An introduction to the whys and wherefores of biodiversity considerations on minerals sites

WHAT is biodiversity? What does it mean? Why do we need to ‘enhance’ it?

If you need to know the answers to these questions and others, this one-day Nature After Minerals workshop – part of the RSPB’s Land Management Training Programme 2012 – will explain all.

The event will take place at the RSPB’s headquarters and Lafarge Aggregates’ nearby Sandy Heath site, in Bedfordshire, on Thursday 12 April 2012.

The course costs £80 + VAT and includes refreshments and a buffet lunch. Discounts are available for RSPB members and if the booking is made before 31 March. To reserve a place on the workshop, print off and use the form attached to the bottom of this article.
