Bell and ECI JCB go from strength to strength

Bell B30E dumptruck

Relationship between the two firms proving successful across the whole of Ireland

BELL Equipment’s relationship with ECI JCB has continued to go from strength to strength, since the leading Irish construction machinery dealer became the main Bell supplier for the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland last year.

The result has been an increase in Bell machinery sales across the region, with Priority Construction Ltd making the most recent purchase.

Looking to upgrade and expand their dumptruck fleet, Priority Construction, a specialist civil engineering company working across Ireland and the UK, have bought two new Bell B30E ADTs from ECI JCB, both of which are being assigned to earthmoving tasks where reliability, efficiency and the ability to deliver low ground-bearing pressure will prove essential.

Pat Keating, contracts manager at Priority Construction, explained: ‘The dependability of Bell Equipment machines is a valuable asset. We have successfully used Bell machines for more than 15 years and continue to be impressed with how well they perform and the way in which the company is managed.

‘To now have ECI JCB as a Bell Equipment dealer on our doorstep is extremely beneficial. Not only do we have instant access to the new E-series, but we can also take advantage of the knowledge and support of a dedicated and well-respected dealership – and as Ireland’s construction sector is showing signs of growth, this is essential.’

Mr Keating went on to describe how well the two B30Es are operating, and said that based on the positive experience and support he has experienced with both the ADTs, he would have no hesitation in buying Bell Equipment machines through ECI JCB in the future.

Denis Murray, managing director of ECI JCB, commented: ‘Over our 32 years as a dealer in the plant machine industry, we’ve established an unrivalled reputation for customer service and exceptional market knowledge. We pride ourselves on knowing the local industry inside out and have the capability to match machines with our customer’s exact requirements.’

After recognizing a market need for ADTs that could work compatibly alongside the dealer’s JCB excavators, ECI JCB suggested creating an alliance with Bell Equipment to make the E-series – which includes the B25E, B30E, B40E and B50E – more readily available to their expanding market.

According to ECI JCB, these particular Bell Equipment models were considered to provide the highest ‘as-standard’ spec of any ADT available, which, when combined with impressive warranties, exceptional fuel efficiency and streamlined financing options, presented the dealership with an all-encompassing plant vehicle package – ideal for the needs of its regional customer base.

They say sales of the Bell Equipment ADT models have been noticeably strong, with the machines actively being sought by local clients for use within construction projects across the region.

‘The relationship with Bell Equipment has been positive from the outset, and with continuing strong sales, which is a reflection of our exceptional customer commitment, we’re confident that the decision to build this mutually beneficial affiliation was the right one,’ concluded Mr Murray.

Supporting these positive comments, Nick Learoyd, managing director of Bell Equipment UK, added: ‘With ECI JCB offering the benefits of an affordable leasing programme though Deutsche Leasing, in conjunction with the superb servicing and support provided by Bell, construction companies across Ireland can now readily access improved ADT machines at times when they are most needed.

‘We’ve worked closely together to offer a total support package to customers, with ECI JCB carrying their own Bell spares for convenient, off-the-shelf parts availability, while our own parts and service management team can provide servicing solutions to keep machines running longer and more effectively than ever.’
