Armcon accuracy delivers QSRMC accreditation

FRASERBURGH-based Bodychell Sand and Gravel have become the first ready-mixed concrete suppliers using an all-volumetric truckmixer fleet to win QSRMC accreditation.

Offering tolerances of +/–1%, the precision of company’s fleet of Armcon Cementec mixers is well within QSRMC’s batch tolerance requirement of +/–3%. Properties measured and tracked include accuracy of volume, strength, consistency and air volume.

Besides their ability to meet the QSRMC standards, the Cementec mixers allow Bodychell’s operators to deliver precise volumes of fresh concrete, on site, at 1.5m3 per minute, while removing the need to make part-load charges; a customer can place an approximate order and have the precise necessary volume and consistency mixed in situ
