Alloy for demanding environments

ToughMet 3 AT110 is a new alloy from Brush Wellman developed for use in demanding environments.

"It is available from stock in rod form (1–4in outside diameter) as well as in a range of other product forms, tempers and finishes from the mill. Its low-friction coefficient, corrosion-resistant and non-magnetic characteristics provide many operational advantages including improved component performance and reliability."

ToughMet 3 AT110 has a minimum ultimate tensile strength of 125Ksi and a minimum yield strength of 110Ksi.
