New improved Force 8 air separator to make UK debut at RWM 2012

FIRSTGRADE have announced that they will be launching their new Force 8 separator at RWM this year. The Force 8 unit uses air to separate materials according to their aerodynamic drag. It incorporates a vibrating screen for removal of fines and a larger separation chamber for increased throughput. 

Applications include cleaning trommel fines and glass, and separating plastic from metal. ‘Force 8 is designed specifically for cleaning up smaller fractions of waste – up to around 70mm,’ said Alan Valentine of Firstgrade. ‘For larger materials we would use an air knife system or water separator.’

As well as launching the Force 8 air separator, Firstgrade will also be highlighting their capability in designing and building bespoke recycling plants for transfer stations.
