Project Manager - Quarrying & Earthworks

Due to continuing sustainable growth a leading material handling & quarry earthmoving contractor based in the South-East requires a Project Manager to manage long-term project works with a material-handling and large-scale quarry earthworks bias. 

You will be responsible for the delivery of a wide range of material-handling and earthmoving projects within a quarry environment whilst adhering to the exacting SHEQT standards that our clients expect. 

Our operating sectors include: 

• Material andling

• Rail & 3PLogistics

• Earthworks & Mining

• Rock Rehandling

• Equipment Solutions

• Rock Reprocessing

We undertake these projects for some of the largest Construction Materials producers and Tier1 Infrastructure providers.

This position requires a dynamic individual with several years of relevant quarry / contract management experience. You will be comfortable working to tight timescales and challenging production targets, you will also have an appreciation of the importance of SHEQT, whilst striving for the best possible customer service within our sectors. You should be a team player with excellent people-management skills, along with the ability to develop long-term sustainable relationships with customers and our operational teams.

Safety, Quality, Customer Service, Support are all paramount to continuing our long-term relationships with a fantastic customer base, these traits will be a prerequisite of the role.
