Minerals Planning Conference 2023
Venue
Minerals planning is at a crossroads, with a range of issues and challenges facing the profession over the coming years. The need for better strategic planning appears to be widely accepted, with government considering reviewing the need for Guidelines for aggregates provision and re-energising national co-ordination, but planning reforms appear to offer little to help.
Lindsey Richards FRTPI, RTPI Vice President will open the conference and will be followed by sessions on:
Environment and Heritage
Planning Reform and Minerals
Legal Update
Planning Practice and Implementation.
Please take a look at the programme for the full conference agenda and find more about this year's speakers on the website.
This is a must attend event for anyone with minerals planning in their remit and it is delivered jointly by the RTPI and the Mineral Products Association. Everyone is welcome.
