Wireless system from VEGA

VEGA Controls have launched their new Plicsradio wireless signal system, specifically designed for industrial measurement and switching applications. With a potential signal range of 1.6km, the wireless unit is suitable for use when installation of a signal cable from the sensors to a processing unit is either not feasible or extremely costly.

The ATEX-compliant system saves on cabling and overcomes obstacles such as roads, railways, rivers and buildings.The Plicsradio system can accommodate up to five inputs – three transmitters and two switches – using a combination of 4-20mA, HART and two digital inputs (relay or NAMUR). Configuration and diagnostics are controlled via an integral Plicscom programmer, or remotely via a PC using FDT/DTM and PACTware software.
