Cerpu combines the properties of ceramics and the flexibility of polyurethane with the ease of fixing of a steel plate. The polyurethane allows more flexing of the ceramic dowels so that minor impacts can be absorbed without cracking or failure. The steel back plate acts as a fixing medium for the use of studs and nuts. Once bolted into place the plant can be used immediately without having to wait for cements or resins to cure. It can also be tailor made to specific shapes and sizes for ease of replacement.
