Senior US management changes at CRH

Company strengthens organizational structure at Oldcastle Inc. with senior management reshuffle

CRH plc, the Dublin-based international building materials group, have announced a number of changes within their management team in the US, effective from 20 February 2012.

Doug Black, currently chief executive of CRH’s Americas Materials Division, has been appointed to the newly created position of president and chief operating officer of Oldcastle Inc. – the holding company for CRH’s operations in the Americas – and will report to Mark Towe, chief executive officer of Oldcastle.

Randy Lake, who most recently served as chief executive officer of Americas Building Solutions, succeeds Mr Black as chief executive officer of Americas Materials.

Keith Haas has been appointed chief executive officer of an expanded Americas Building Products Group, which will consist of the company’s APG, Precast and Building Envelope activities. He previously led the Oldcastle Building Products group.

Commenting on the changes, CRH chief executive Myles Lee said: ‘These appointments, and subsequent follow-on changes, strengthen our organization structure and enhance our ability to execute our strategies and achieve long-term performance and growth.’
