Selwood open specialist pump centre in Liverpool

New facility on Merseyside currently acting as electro-submersible pump distribution centre for the whole of the UK

SELWOOD have opened a specialist pump centre in Liverpool for the supply and installation of specialist electric submersible pumping equipment.

The operation has been set up with a dedicated support team focused on delivering technical excellence throughout Selwood’s northern branch network, and has fully trained electric submersible pump technicians equipped to examine and re-certify explosion-proof submersible pumping equipment.

In the short time that the centre has been open, it has proved so successful throughout the northern regions that it has been expanded to become Selwood’s distribution centre for the whole of the country for electro-submersibles and ancillary equipment, until a similar facility is opened in the south.

Through expansion and investment made by Selwood during 2010 and 2011, the new Liverpool centre has become a major holding facility for specialist explosion-proof submersible pumps and is believed to have one of the largest submersible pump fleets in the country.
