Rotech offer a solution to restricted installation fitting areas

Rotech Systems have unveiled their latest product – the MAE1000-series mini aluminium body shaft encoder. Designed for applications where installation fitting space is severely limited, Rotech say this new unit is another example of how their motion sensors can be used for every application.

The MAE 1000 series of Rotech shaft-mounted sensors and encoders has been developed from the AE1000 part of their standard range. The 31mm x 110mm size units are manufactured in a tough and durable aluminium casting with an industrial powder-coated hammer blue finish.

Installation is simple and easy, just one threaded hole in the end of the shaft being monitored or fitted using the unique Mag-con magnetic connector. The Mag-Con is also available as an integrated fitment on the Mag-coder range.

A wide range of number of pulses per revolution are available together with AC and DC electrical outputs.
