Record results for CRH
CRH say a combination of strong underlying organic growth and good incremental contributions from acquisitions helped produce record sales and profits in the year ended 31 December 2005. Pre-tax profit increased 16% to euro 1.2 billion on turnover up 13% at euro 14.4 billion. Operating profit was 14% higher at euro 1.3 billion.
