Quarry bypass
"A busy holiday route through north Devon has been diverted in order to avoid Hanson’s Brayford Quarry. A 300m long bypass now takes traffic around the quarry and away from the load-out area, making it safer for motorists and quarry employees. The £300,000 scheme is part of a £500,000 package of improvements at neighbouring Brayford and Barton Wood quarries."
