Pollution fine

Brett Lafarge Ltd have been fined £12,000 and ordered to pay £4,114 in costs by Havering Magistrates Court, after pleading guilty to a charge of causing polluting matter [silt] to enter controlled waters adjacent to Fairlop Quarry, near Romford, Essex, in November 2007.
