Parker unveil new P1D-T actuator range
Latest actuators designed to extend service life and reduce maintenance costs
PARKER Hannifin, a global leader in motion and control technologies, have recently introduced their P1D-T range of actuators available in bore sizes up to 320mm.
The highly competitive range of ISO 15552 actuators are suitable for a wide range of industrial applications. Due to its anodized barrel and die cast end plates, the P1D-T range offers excellent corrosion resistance, thus increasing the number of different environments they can be installed in, plus extending the operating life and reducing maintenance costs.
Available in 160, 200, 250 and 320mm bore sizes; the actuators are available with strokes lengths from 10 to 2,000mm. The standard operating range is stated as –20 degrees Celsius to +80 degrees Celsius and feature both a magnetic piston and adjustable cushioning as standard, which allows higher speeds, shorter cycle times and reduced noise thus increasing productivity. High temperature versions and ATEX derivatives are available on request.
The big bore sizes and high forces make the P1D-T suitable for many arduous industrial applications such as lifting, moving and clamping heavy loads, typically within steel and aluminium production (outside of crust breaking).
Additional uses include weight levelling machines; air ventilation and filling systems; and for above ground mining projects such as knife gate for coal and diamond production. Fully supported with standard ISO mountings, the PID-T range is directly interchangeable with competitive units.
